Victorino to the DL, Brown Promoted

On Tuesday night Shane Victorino tweeked an abdominal muscle on his left side while tracking a routine fly ball in a game against Arizona. The Phillies, already with Jimmy Rollins out for a few days after he fouled a ball off his own foot on Monday, didn't have the luxury of continuing with another active player unable to play. Victorino was placed on the 15-day disabled list on Wednesday.

Taking Victorino's place on the active 25-man roster will be the Phillies' top prospect Domonic Brown. Through 93 games at 2 minor league levels this season, Brown had posted a .327 average, 20 homeruns, 68 RBI, 17 steals and a .980 OPS. Brown, a lefty hitting 22-year-old,

Listed at six-foot-one, 210-pounds, Wilson opened the 2022 campaign with Class A Advanced Jersey Shore.  The 22-year-old has been slow to start offensively, but confidence and poise are not a problem for this strong, promising individual. On the base paths, Wilson is quick and can contribute with his feet.  Defensively, the Alabama native will likely play left or right field moving forward.  Possessing an ability t

Ryan Madson is acting questionable

I've seen similar types of "poking fun" entries on other Phillies blogs. When this picture came across my desk today, I figured, "Why not...?" Can I really call him a friend, if he's actually my friends' friend , and I only prank called him once? Sure, why the heck not?!
