Phanatic Dissed, Buster is a Baller

Wednesday night at Lakewood's FirstEnergy Park the Phillie Phanatic made his annual appearance when he visited the Phillies' local A-Level affiliate, the BlueClaws. The Phanatic brought along the Phillies' World Series trophy from 2008 and the National League championship trophy from 2009, but the glitz and shine that comes along with being the mascot for an elite level Major League Baseball club was not enough for the Phanatic to land a phine young lady that caught his eye.

That's BlueClaws mascot Buster, to whom the Phanatic was like a big brother. No more mentoring. This could be a new rivalry within the system. Could they have been acting out those Chase Utley/Jayson Werth rumors?! Hmmm.

2022 Top Phillies Prospects Countdown: #13 OF Ethan Wilson

Taken with the Phillies' second round draft pick (49th overall) last year, outfielder Ethan Wilson has landed among the top prospects in the organization. A co-freshman of the year in 2019, with South Alabama, Wilson has been on the radar of some big league teams for quite a while. I've seen similar types of "poking fun" entries on other Phillies blogs. When this picture came across my desk today, I figured, "Why not...?" Ryan Madson was out on the town (Manayunk) over the weekend and was photographed acting pretty with a purse slung over his shoulder and being chummy with a friend of mine. Can I really call him a friend, if he's actually my friends' friend , and I only prank called him once? Sure, why the heck not?!
